The Lumedyne QuadSpeed Head offers a very strong and durable rotating speedring for all shapes and sizes of softboxes. It has four flashtubes for blazing fast flash duration at all power levels from 3ws to 3200ws and one, two or four Quartz 25 watt modeling lamps AMBX for 3 power f-stops of quartz halogen modeling power. The H4QS has a loud audible Ready Tone with volume control, down to Off. All of the bulbs are easily user replaceable and together provide the widest possible power range, brightest modeling power and the fastest flash duration of any portable Flash Head worldwide. Lumedyne includes a very strong, yet simple, quick release stand fitting with this Head. It has dual sync connections and a test fire button on the back of the head. All the power is delivered through one 10 foot long, built in and extendable, Head Cable plugged into ANY Lumedyne Power Pack including the Action Pack which has a 3 times faster flash duration than normal Packs already and still much faster with this Head. The flash duration is always about 3.5 times faster than a one tube normal Flash Head. It weighs in at less than 4 pounds yet can securely hold a seven foot octi-softbox or use reflectors including large beauty-dishes and other accessories designed to fit Bowens™ flashes or similar style accessories such as the new beauty-dishes offered by Lumedyne. (A new adapter plate ABRA is also available for normal one tube Lumedyne Heads to accept these accessories as well…) The new QuadSpeed Head H4QS does not have any limitation on shooting speed and has a suggested retail price of $1250 and considering that it’s really four Flash Heads in one, that is a great price, but is available at our Dealerships for discounted prices. It can be rented individually directly from Lumedyne for $75 per week plus shipping costs. It has a full two year warranty on everything but broken glass.
